History
Xigbar’s past is rather mysterious and vague. A sniper formerly known as Braig, Xigbar is one of the original six founders of Organization XIII, his rank being number II. Prior to becoming a Nobody, Braig was a disciple of Ansem the Wise along with five other scientists; Xehanort, Dilan, Even, Aeleus and Ienzo (known as Xemnas, Xaldin, Vexen, Lexaeus and Zexion respectively). Together these six disciples conducted horrifying and cold-hearted experiments on innocent lives whom often became creatures known as Heartless, despite their leader‘s orders not to investigate Heartless nor the heart. When these disciples became Heartless themselves, their Nobodies were created forming Organization XIII. Since these events, Xigbar was known as “The Freeshooter”, wielding two gun arrows. He strived towards the same purpose as other members; to fulfil Kingdom Hearts and receive a heart of his own, though he seemed to mess around in the process. He was defeated by Sora and his crew in The World That Never Was.

Personality
Normally, Xigbar is laid back, slightly rude and confident. This persona never seems to falter and he retains it until his own death. He enjoys taunting his enemies and attempts to somehow confuse the Keyblade Master (Sora) during their encounters, though he mostly fails to intimidate the teenager (understandably; would you be intimidated by a surfer dude that acts like a seventeen-year-old? Don‘t think so). This is clearly observed in Hollow Bastion, where he tries to confuse Sora with his reference to Roxas, number XIII of the Organization and a labelled traitor. Like other Organization members, Xigbar is emotionless and literally unable to feel due to having no heart. As a result of this he is also immoral and shows no remorse towards any terror that befalls other worlds. Contrasting most other members though, Xigbar is the most relaxed and easygoing, seemingly fond of conflict, turmoil and general trouble-making. This can be observed in the Land of Dragons. He’s well-adjusted (in his own opinion at least…), though responsibilities and reliability on his own intellect aren’t his strongest points.

Xigbar likes to answer questions vaguely just to annoy others; a tactic to unsuccessfully antagonize Sora. He speaks in riddles like it's his second language. He rarely seems to use physical means to degrade or cause others harm, surprisingly. It should be noted that he shows little consideration for fallen members but in fact seems interested in their demise. However, despite his behaviour, fulfilling his orders is not something he takes particularly lightly.

Did I forget mention he pretty much behaves like your average high school boy? I believe I did. He acknowledges that he’s not there to party day-in, day-out (or so he thinks)…but seems to bloody well make the most of what he’s doing nevertheless…Not necessarily to his own advantage in the end. He’s not as superior in rank as Saix despite being one of the original six (I think we all know why that is.

Generally, if you're friendly towards Xigbar, he will be (almost) friendly in return. He likes a banter, a drink and a fuck, while mocking others in the process. On the other hand, he can also be very serious and very dangerous - it is advised that you tread carefully, unless you have a deathwish. He is cunning, manipulative and if he feels he can use you, he will.

Physically, Xigbar appears to be rather old, especially from a distance. This is because of his sharp facial features and ebony, greying hair. However, he moves and behaves quite youthfully, along with having a young tone of voice. He has a single, shrewd, amber eye that sees all and a physique that the world has thrown a lot at. He is quite tall and is a medium build. Like all other members of the Organization, he wears a long black coat along with black gloves and black shoes. He wears an eye patch on his right eye for unknown reasons, though presumably due to a severe injury. On the left side of his face is a rather large scar, starting from his jaw line and travelling as far as his eye. The cause of this is unknown.

Xigbar has a surfer accent, which emphasizes his chilled out attitude. He has a repetitive habit of saying “As if” which once again demonstrates his laid back personality. He’s boisterous and unpredictable, especially in battle. Along with controlling matter and space, Xigbar is an exceptional sniper. He wields two gun arrows and he bloody well knows how to use them. He shoots the fuck out his victims mercilessly with remarkable speed, a rather annoying strength. Oh and he tends to eavesdrop on conversations for his own entertainment, which is quite an easy thing for him to do since he controls space and may teleport himself if he wishes to do so…Yeah, he’s a sneaky little bugger like that.
